Hey There!

This year is already off to a great and fast start! A lot has been going on in those Falcon halls. So far we have welcomed our awesome new Principal, Principal Jacobsen, had two successful Curriculum Nights, and have had such a GREAT volunteer turn out with each event. While you catch your breath and sip your tea/coffee we'll share a bit of what's coming.

Falcon Family Homeroon Helpers

These classes still need a Falcon Family Helper. What is a Falcon Family Helper you might ask... As a Falcon Family Helper your job is to assist the teacher (or even lead, if you are comfortable)with the activities/snack provided by PTO for the Holiday Party and End of Year Party. If this sounds interesting and you'd like more info or would like to sign up to support one of these classes please email vips@farneypto.com

October 6th: Spirit Shop

October 10th: Spring Creek BBQ Spirit Night

October 12th: Fall Picture Day

October 16th: No School (Teacher Work Day)

October 18th: 5th Grade Parent Meeting

October 20th: General PTO Meeting

October 23rd-27th: Red Ribbon Week

October 31st: Halloween!

Spirit Shop

Spirit Shop is where we open up shop during all lunches, on the first Friday of each month, for students to buy little knick knacks or busy toys. We have a variety of items from pencils and pencil toppers to slime and stress balls. All items are for sale at 25 cents and up to 2$. This is a fun little way for kids to practice working within a budget and our volunteers are happy to help teach/practice the value of coins and staying within your budget. Spirit Night

Join us for dinner on Tuesday October 10th, and see if your teacher is there serving bread! We are so appreciative of Spring Creek for being great to work with and so willing to help raise funds for our Falcons. If you haven't been to a Spirit Night yet, we suggest making this one your first one! Spirit Night at Spring Creek is the best because for every delicious plate, our Falcon students and staff will receive a percentage of the money brought in from the whole evening.

Fall Picture Day

Falcon Fam, we need your help on October 12th!

We need your help making picture day go as smooth as possible. A "smooth" picture day includes helping get each class to the photographer(s) at the right times, helping lead the students back to class, and other various tasks to keep the flow going. We typically have several different volunteering times available for this day, if you are interested in volunteering with this please click HERE.

General PTO Meeting

This meeting is open to all parents/guardians of our Falcons. We host this meeting to give everyone insight into who your PTO Board is, where the funds go, and any plans we may have for the current school year. If you have general questions we'd be happy to do our best to answer them. We will be posting details regarding time and location of this meeting on our website and social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram) closer to the date.

Kroger Rewards

We wanted to take a brief moment to shout "Thank You!" to Kroger rewards for partnering with us to raise money for our Falcons. If you have a Kroger account, be sure to link Farney PTO to it so we can continue to earn a small percentage from your purchases! Cypress Storage

Thank You! to Cypress Storage (on Cypress Rosehill) for donating storage space for our PTO items. With all the construction and our growing Falcon Family having this space to hold our various festival, spirit night, spirit shop, fundraiser, and party supplies has been amazing. So thank you Cypress Storage for supporting the Farney Elementary PTO!
