October Volunteer Opportunities

9/26/2019 11:29 am

We have many amazing opportunities throughout the month to provide our students with fun and enriching activities, but we can't do them without your help. We need all of our parents, guardians and grandparents to partner with us to make these events successful. Please take a moment to look at all of the opportunities to participate that are listed below and click the dates below to sign-up. We thank all of you in advance for your willingness to share your time and smiling faces with our students!

October 4th: Spirit Shop Helpers

Spirit Shop is held the first Friday of every month during the lunch hour. Students can bring money to purchase small "fun" items like pencils, erasers and slime. We need parent volunteers to assist our shoppers in making their selections and bagging the items. We also need parents to help us set up and put away the items as well. You can volunteer once or sign up for your favorite time slot every month!

VIPS Tips for 2019-2020

9/10/2019 7:48 pm

As we all adjust to the back-to-school routine here are some important tips and reminders!

Transportation Changes

All transportation changes must be made before 3:40 pm.

Lunch Visitors

Lunch visitors are welcome beginning September 9th. Check-in at the front desk and get a visitor's name tag. Sit with your child at the designated "Visitor's Table". Please make sure you get a new sticker if you are volunteering in a different area such as the library or classrooms before or after lunch with your student.  Be prepared to show your ID every time you sign in at the front desk.

Classroom Parties

We have two classroom parties this school year. Holiday Party on Friday, December 20th and an End of Year Party on Thursday, May 28th. Both will be from 2-2:45pm. Prior to the Holiday Party, you will be asked to make a one-time donation $10 per child towards Classroom Parties. This $10 will help PTO purchase food and craft supplies for each party. Homeroom parents will need to arrive at 1:30pm for set up.

There are many opportunities to volunteer. Make sure to fill out the volunteer opportunity form and let us know what areas you are interested in helping out. Also, please read through our Volunteer Guidelines
