Lunch Information 2024-2025

LUNCH VISITORS INFORMATION:

  • K-5 parents and guardians are invited to visit during lunch starting September 9th.
  • Any other visitors (grandparents, siblings, friends, etc.), must be accompanied by the parent or guardian or have a note giving them permission to eat with the child for each visit.
  • In accordance with CFISD policy, school-age children are not permitted to visit the campus at any time.
  • Due to food and nutrition guidelines, you may bring lunch for your child only.
  • For your convenience, there are tables reserved for you to enjoy lunch with your child.
  • Teachers will call the “Farney Five” at the end of lunch to signal when it is time for your child to say a quick goodbye and rejoin his/her class.

LUNCH MENU & CAFETERIA ACCOUNT INFORMATION:

 

ORDERING BIRTHDAY TREATS

Due to the “Foods of Minimal Nutritional Value (FMNV)” policy, parents may not bring cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. for any child other than their own. 


To order birthday treats from the cafeteria, send an email to the cafeteria manager, Martha Santacruz at martha.santacruz@cfisd.net or 281-373-2857

 

Include the following:  Parent name, Student’s Name, Student’s Birthday, Student’s Grade/Teacher, Treat Choice: Ice cream or cookie​.

 

Please be aware that:

  • The order should be made two weeks prior to the child’s birthday.
  • The order must include everyone in the child’s classroom.
  • The treats cost is per student.  You will only be charged for students present. 
  • Cost will be deducted from the student’s lunch account.
  • If the child’s account has a negative balance, the balance must be paid in full before the order will be processed.
