We are the Parent Teach Organization at Farney Elementary, more commonly referred to as the “PTO.” We are parents of current Farney students who volunteer our time to help enrich the school experience for ALL of our Farney Friends. Meet the current PTO Board.

The Where & The Why.

As Farney parents, we want to offer every opportunity to our children for a full and enriched learning experience. To do this, we reach out to our Farney Families, as well as out into the community to help raise funds to provide “above and beyond” experiences that our children/students may not otherwise experience.

The When & The How.

The PTO provides multiple opportunities throughout the year to volunteer and/or get involved on campus. Check out our calendar, Facebook, Instagram or our X/Twitter pages for current and upcoming volunteering opportunities. Not registered as a volunteer yet? Click here to sign up and learn how to become an approved Farney/CFISD volunteer. Schedule doesn’t work for volunteering? No problem. Become a PTO member for the low annual cost of $10 to help support all of the activities the PTO provides. This membership must be renewed at the beginning of each school year to be considered active.

The Goal.

The purpose of the Farney Elementary PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is to support and enhance the educational experience of each student during the school year. Our volunteer organization provides the bridge connection and creates multiple opportunities throughout the year to enable a closer relationship between the school and home by encouraging ongoing parent involvement with the campus. Our goal is to support a safe learning and working environment for all children, staff, educators and volunteers while on campus and at PTO sponsored events, while also enriching the Farney Elementary experience through volunteering and financial support through various fundraising and community involvement opportunities.
